MIDDLE STATES ACCREDITATION
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is the unit of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools that accredits degree-granting colleges and universities in the Middle States region.
Standards of Accreditation
During 17吃瓜网鈥檚 most recent Self-Study and accreditation review process in 2023, Middle States required institutions to demonstrate excellence in 14 Standards for accreditation. Since then, Middle States has adjusted its accreditation process and now evaluates institutions on seven (7)聽 .
17吃瓜网 is an Accredited institution and a member聽of the . 17吃瓜网's accreditation status聽is聽Non-Compliance Warning.聽The Commission鈥檚 most recent action on the institution鈥檚 accreditation status on聽November 16, 2023聽was to warn the institution. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission鈥檚 geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.

Accreditation Cycle & Timeline
The Commission maintains an聽8-year cycle of review, beginning with a self-study and on-site evaluation visit;聽聽17吃瓜网鈥檚 scheduled accreditation will take place during the 2022-23 academic year.

17吃瓜网 鈥榮 Self-Study Design will guide the discussion, research and writing undertaken by the Steering Committee and the Working Groups throughout the two-year self-study process leading up to the Team Visit in Spring 2023.

17吃瓜网 curricula are approved by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED). All curricula are approved for the training of veterans under the pertinent public laws, and the college is approved by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a Bureau of the US Department of Homeland Security, for the attendance of foreign students. Accrediting and licensing documents can be reviewed online or through the Office of the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.
